growing up

Rachel has definitely grown up a lot these past month.

Understanding
She understands better what we tell her. It's amazing that she knows what I am talking about. Example, when I ask her to "share share" her biscuit or any other food with her poh-poh, or kong-kong, or yeh-yeh, or mah-mah....she actually knows who to turn to, and extend her hand holding the biscuit to them. Such a big feat for such a small girl!
She does of course understand the word NO....but that does not mean she will follow suit what I instruct....
Rach even knows how to NOD her head, indicating her understanding what I say!

Copy Cat
She loves imitating us adults. So, gotta be real careful what we do and say in front of her soon!
She imitates her Uncle Bing, sticking his tongue out.
She imitates my wiping the floor using her flannel.
She imitates her kong-kong stamping his feet on the newly planted grass.
and the list goes on!!!!

Trying to Walk
Rachel does not like to crawl much anymore. She still does it, when she has no choice. She likes it when we hold her hands so that she can walk around the house. Quite a backbreaking task for us...
Having dinner together
She loves dinner time together. For the last one week, my parents were here in KL with us. So, she enjoys dinner together with us, having a plate of rice ("adult" plate like us) with an "adult" spoon. When we laugh, she will join in, just to be in part of our conversation....so adorable.
Big people chair
She loves posing and lazing on our chairs as well.
