Milestone, for father and daughter

I was on a business trip yesterday, and had to stay overnight. I found out about this “unavoidable” trip a week ago, and since it’s just ONE night, we decided not to send Rachel back to kung kung and grandma’s place back in my hometown.

The morning before I left, I prepared everything that was needed for hubby to survive the night with Rachel. He did not want to bring back our maid from MIL’s place, claiming that it’s not necessary…. I was impressed with hubby’s bravery. After all, it was his first night with Rachel alone, since she was born!!!!

Lo and behold…both father and daughter survived fine…more than fine actually….. Rachel did not miss me that much, only for a few seconds right before she fell asleep….and daddy said he did not hear her stir or wake up for milk in the wee hours of the morning….! Amazing!
