School has started for 2008
Rachel has been promoted from playgroup to nursery this year..... Nursery started yesterday, and I can proudly claim that Rachel fared pretty well the last 2 days!!!!
On the first day, I accompanied Rachel to school. I wanted to meet her new class teacher, and check out the other classmates. It was a mistake, as Rachel did not let me go off after I introduced myself to her teacher. Instead, I had to stand at the corner of the class.
After school, I started prepping her about school the next day. Told her that daddy will be dropping her off, and she has to be a brave girl and walk into the class on her own.... and she did!!!!!! I am really happy.....hahahaha.....simple happiness...
On another note, we have been worried about how MIL and FIL can get Rachel to wake up in the morning to go to school. She has been sleeping late over the last 2 months!!!! On the first day, I managed to wake her up an hour before school, by switching on all the lights and the TV loudly..... drastic measures....
