Lil Ken is 3 months old

Lil Ken turns 3 months old. Time passes really fast, when my whole day involves just entertaining and taking care of 2 kids. FULL TIME! WITHOUT A MAID! Thank God I was in my parents place for the last 1 month!!!
We went to the doc for another 2 jabs and the rotavirus medicine taken orally. Again, the whole course costs us RM565.
Ken is now 7.6kg. Only 1kg gain since his last month checkup. Obviously, I was concerned...and the doc told me that I should not be, as Ken has already doubled his birthweight at 3 months old! (She said on average, baby should double his/her birthweight at 5 months). So, Lil Ken is growing ok.
This baby of mine likes to be carried upright. So, when his kung kung carries him, he will fidget, and kung kung will have to walk around while carrying him. You see, kung kung only has one way of carrying him.... which is not upright!
He has started watching faces, so recognition has sunk in. He knows he can whine his way when he sees his grandma, as she will succumb to carrying him. And when he sees me, he knows it's milkie time, or even bathing time. And when he sees his sister, he enjoys her tuneless singing, and he will make faces as he knows she will try to kiss him on his mouth!!!!
He has gotten "smarter" as how my mom puts it. He started rejecting the bottle a few days before he turned 3 months. At first, I got pretty stressed about it. So, I bought new teats, tried bottle feeding him at different times, etc etc....Then, I thought about it again, and was like... "hey, I survived fine without bottles for rachel. Moreover, I sort of miss the times she depends on me for food....so, might as well enjoy this for now"!!!! It does give me a great feeling when I breastfeed him. Although, I am still trying my best to continue extracting milk when he is not feeding, to ensure I keep my supply up, just in case of any growth spurts!

Ken loves to smile. and coo..... he says a lot of "ah goooo" s especially to my mom who has real patience to coo to him. And he responds to whistling, which his kung kung does to him. His smile is infectious. He smiles and giggles quite a bit, especially after he poos... so, imagine how difficult it is for me not to respond to his smiling and cooing at 4am in the morning. That's the time he poos....like clockwork. And so as not to stimulate him too much, I do try not to respond to him as well.... else, I would not be able to get back to my "be sane" sleep!!!!
He still sleeps on his tummy during the day (like his sister did and still does). And also he can lift his head and chest up high....for quite some time. He kicks his legs in the air a lot, whether he's on his tummy, or back. Good abs control! If only I could do that, I will be able to get rid of that stubborn post-pregnancy paunch of mine!!!! haiyai yaiiii....
Kenneth still has thrush once in a while. So, I have resorted to using glycerin to wash his mouth as well. He still loves his mobile, and the tiny gym playmat.... so, no matter how difficult it is to pack it into our suitcase, or how hubby said we can do without it.... I am gonna try my best to pack them all into our suitcases for our relocation!!!!!
As for now, I am praying that lil Ken will be easy to handle...during our flight there. Hubby wants to be really prepared for it. So, he is not only buying a basinet ticket for lil Ken. He's getting a SEAT as well! For our little boy, who can't sit on his own yet! :) Joking? NO!!!!!!

Immunisation in Msia so expensive, what if ppl cant afford it? Here FOC, and gvt will GIVE us money to get it done.
Ken is so cute, i can see the resemblance to baby Rachel.
Cant wait to hear abt your life in Kuwait! What a big change.
well, we went to a private doc. that's why. For those who can't afford, they can then go to the govt hospitals. BUT, they won't get all the immunisations. Just those essential ones, I guess.
