so so early.......

Rachel woke us up at 5.30am this morning. She was mumbling to herself at first, then she was scratching the bed head with her fingernails...making that sound I cringe at...after that, she was wailing...."mamamama....nananana.....kakakaka"....it was the "mamamama" which made me drag myself out of bed.....he,he...

Feeding R solids is not an easy task. She shuts her mouth so tight, when I feed her vegetables or any savoury foods. It's the sweet fruits that can get her to open her mouth willingly. So, the trick is to feed a scoop of sweets, then savoury...to get her to open her mouth in anticipation for a sweet scoop:)

We borrowed some books for Rachel from the Fountainbridge library yesterday. Realised that it's really expensive to buy children's books. It costs at least 5 pounds for a book, which is filled with maybe 20 words in total, and 6 pages of pictures? Or are we paying that much for the hard covered pages? Anyway, reading to Rachel takes a bit of skill. She will be trying to grab hold of the book...to chew!!!!
