Music Appreciation

When I was pregnant with R from the 4th month onwards, I made it a point to spend 20 minutes every other night with the fetal headphones thingy which I attached to my tummy. I put on a variety of music, from Jim Brickman to Norah Jones to Chinese, Korean and Japanese songs. And whenever I felt that R was not kicking or moving a lot in my womb, I would pop these fetal headphones on, to stimulate her. And she did kick extra harder in my womb when I play music. I still wonder whether babies can actually hear the music from inside the womb...

Anyway, I noticed that R loves music. Any kind. She loves the advertisement jingles, and she loves her rhymes. And she loves to hear me sing, although hubby claims that I am the first girl he meets who can't sing. One of her favourite item in her basket of toys is the little Fimbles radio that her Aunty May and Uncle Wei Keat bought for her. And she headbangs and claps to the music...
