Fun Song Factory

Have I ever mentioned that Rachel LOVES (and I mean really really really LOVES) Fun Song Factory?

Two months before this, she does not watch much TV, and we thought introducing some kiddy series will help with her speech development. We started with Barney...no obvious interest, surprisingly. Then, we tried Sesame Street...again...nothing.... we tried all the different kids series on playhouse disney channel....again....no interest..

One day, I was walking around the toy department in Isetan during lunchhour. Then, I thought maybe I should look for some series with lots of music in it, as Rachel seems to respond well to music....It was between Hi-5 and Fun Song Factory. I chose the latter....and never looked back!!!!

When in MIL's place, she watches her series at least a few times a day...she even copies some of the dancing moves now. Even Ida (our Indonesian help) is familiar with the songs....even though she does not speak English...This shows how OFTEN Rachel watches the series!!!!

Hubby has to "fight" with Rachel for the TV...and Rachel comes out the winner all the time!!!!

So, we have decided that we will buy ANOTHER LCD monitor to put next to our TV....it seems weird..but if we ever want any TV browsing after a hard day's work, I guess that RM1k has to be spent somehow!!!!

Note: while typing this on my notebook, Rachel is watching Fun Song Factory, and at the same time, standing behind me, playing with my hair....her 2 favourite pasttimes....
ohhhh.....they are singing Old Macdonald....and she's imitating the quack quack, moo moo...CUTE!
