Desperate

Over the weekend, Rachel and I went swimming at Mei Leng "ee"'s place. Woke ah "ee" up at 9am, and went swimming for half hour after that. We were in the main pool, and Rachel learned how to kick a bit, and float with her legs up (with her pink float, of course)..... But she gets tired pretty easily, and kept on asking to "walk walk", meaning go to the shallower end.



When we went for our weekly shopping routine, Rachel managed to get Daddy to buy her an "animal" balloon...not cheap, I must say....

Then, when we were looking at bedsheets and household items, Rachel was delighted to see a beanbag!!!!! They were out of stock, else Daddy would have bought one for Rachel (notice the trend of our shopping here......with Rachel around...) She was testing out the display unit....

And on Sunday, while driving back home, Rachel was trying to get hubby to promise her a vitagen.....She kept on saying "dadae...GEN! dadae....GEN!"

As we thought it's best not to indulge her in too much Vitagen or Yakult, we said no.

Then, the "manipulative" Rachel came on board.....for the VERY FIRST TIME.....Rachel managed to spurt out a whole sentence without any prompting....she went...

"poh..lease...dadae...i wan to dink GEN!"

Daddy's heart melted, and Rachel got her Vitagen when we reached home......
