they are only 3!!!!!

kiasu....that's how i describe some parents and grandparents out there. no doubt i am worried about rachel's development... but i hope i am not THAT bad compared to this grandmother i met today!!!!

We brought Rachel to a park today. She was contentedly playing sand, and there were other kids around. Rachel called out to us a few times. And then, this grandmother, sitting near us, suddenly turned and asked me "your child is 3 years old?" ... I just nodded.... And she made a comment... "her words can't seem to come out...." (telling us that rachel can't speak as well as her grandchild who was nearby playing)....

Hubby and I just ignored her. Hubby thought I would answer back. I just kept quiet... a waste of time for me to conjure something out in my mind to retort back at her rudeness, I guess.... Hubby would have said something, if she continued insulting us.... Who does she think she is????
