Camera, or is it the skills?

Notice my pics are not very "artistic"... as compared to those taken by people with really good SLR or DSLR or whatever they call it. I am definitely not into photography. But really. Am thinking maybe I can take better pics of the kids if I do have that kind of camera????? he, he..... Hubby will roll his eyes at this....
