Bad poo week

Up till last week, R has been really consistent in poo-ing into her potty, rather than her nappies. She is not potty trained. Just that, we consistently put her on the potty to allow her to do either her number one or number two. It's more of training on our side rather than hers.

Anyhow, I have been reading the Gina Ford's "Potty Training In One Week" and the book stresses that a child CANNOT be potty trained, unless s/he can actually control their movements, or is aware of their movements.

Back to the main story. R has been really consistent in poo-ing into her potty up till this week. She suddenly refuses to sit on the potty long. She even fights and cries out when I try to put her on. I know I should not be frustrated, as she is still quite young, but it's just that she has been so good in this department, and it seems such a waste to have to go back to square one! This week, she has poo-ed twice in her nappies already. Sighhh....I really hope this is just a passing phase, and she will go back to poo-ing in her potty. In the mean time, I need to learn how to control my frustrations!
