Wedding Frenzy
Last weekend was Part 1 of my sis’s wedding. It was held in Ipoh, and Rachel had a blast with all the attention showered onto her, and all the noise and fun around her.
Rachel had:
- 2 late “sleep-at-1am” nights
- many willing people to carry her around
- less afternoon naps due to the crowd
- 2 new dresses for the morning session and dinner, made with TLC by grandma
- a couple of photographers following her antics and shooting her pics, when they were not too busy with the bride and groom
- a few new friends of her age to play with her (relatives and friends)
- thrown a few tantrums because she was already spoilt by all the willing people around her
- daddy buying her a new pair of white Clarks shoes (another RM118) to go with her nice angelic white dresses
- a piece of brownie made by Grandaunty Chiew Leng for the pre-wedding celebrations
and many many more…….
When things have quietened down on Sunday, and when we were back home in KL, I noticed Rachel was more temperamental. She threw a big tantrum that night, and I wanted to place her in a corner for some time-out. It did not work very well, as she was stamping her feet, and she did not want to let me go, while screaming and screeching at the top of her voice. It was horrible…..My new resolution is to read on disciplining my toddler…after this busy time of celebration.
Another round of celebration this weekend……….continuation of the wedding saga….
