Weekdays are workdays and weekends MUST be with mama and dadae!!!!

Rachel woke up on Saturday, and when she realised she's at home, she was all excited, asking for "kai kai" (go out) the minute she opened her eyes. She will then laze a bit on her bed with us, and then proceed to choose her own clothes for her big day out!!!! I have never child-proofed our clothes drawers (bad mommy...)....and touch wood, we have no accidents so far with any drawers yet..... Rachel will open her own drawers and search for her own outing clothes.....

daddy had to take the car for service on saturday morning. So, after he left, I got Rachel ready, and we went in Ah koo's car to fetch daddy from the car service workshop. Rachel was sitting in her car seat at the passenger's seat....and from afar across the junction, she saw the workshop, pointed at it, and said "fetch dadae...." I was pretty shocked, as we don't service our car THAT often....it's amazing she can recognise the car workshop from afar!!!!!! Daddy did not really believe this when I told him what transpired though....hmmmmpppphhhh..... such little faith in us...


Anyway, on Sunday, we had an errand to run. So arranged with MIL to bring Rachel over to her place for the morning. When daddy was putting Rachel into the car, he told her the plans...and she started whining..."no mah mah's place...no yeh-yeh's place".....and when I got into the car, she whined to me the whole journey to mahmah's place....and she cried and yanked her body when we dropped her at mah-mah's place......aiyooooorrrr...... she understands WEEKENDS are her days with mummy and daddy....


This morning, she woke up early, and we dropped her at MIL's place, she was calm....waving goodbye to us, as we had to leave for work..... hmmmm..... Daddy reckons it's time to proceed from teaching her numbers to DAYS OF THE WEEK!!!!
