Facepainting.....

I promised Rachel that we will brave the heat and go out yesterday. But our normal cab driver was not available, so I postponed the trip. Then today, before hubby left for work, I discussed with him whether to go out or not. Sort of decided that we won't, since it's the end of the week, and he will not be working tomorrow anyway....
BUT....our dear Rachel put up a jolly face...and acted extra cheerful this morning...and she gave me a couple of not very subtle hints that she really wants to go out...

First not-so-subtle Hint:

We were watching Winnie the Pooh and sleuths on Disney channel. They were singing a THINK THINK THINK song....encouraging us to THINK WE CAN.... you know the gist...

and Rachel sang along... i THINK THINK THINK....then she added this phrase.... I THINK I CAN GO OUT TODAY.....

she sang it very loudly...

2nd not-so-subtle Hint:

Mummy, I want to tell you something.
Yes?
Mummy, I think you better not bathe too long.
Why?
So that we can go out lorrrrrr......

(do you see any relevance there????? I still don't!!!!)

3rd not-so-subtle Hint:

Mummy, you should call the uncle taxi now......

And so, we went out.... and we got Rachel's face painted!!!!



and ta....daaaaa.......

and after the very hot and sweaty cab ride home.....
