Started school
Rachel started school yesterday. She did not cry or whine. I stayed with Kenneth in the parent's waiting room, anticipating her teacher to come running to get me. No one came....until I went to her class to fetch her to go home.
Then, today, hubby sent her to school. Stayed 5 mins with her, then left. She came back by bus. And she seemed happy about it....
Hopefully this will not change.
I think all's well and smooth due to one bad parenting move we made..... Material Blackmail.... We promised her a bicycle if she does well and stay brave in school:) Oh well... we got to do what the kids need us to do!!!!:) Guilty Guilty Guilty....
Rachel is one of the very few asians in the school. I think she's the only chinese. I saw a few other Koreans in another class. Some of the kids in her class find her quite "unique". Hubby mentioned that he saw a kid poking at Rachel curiously... From my last bully post, I have decided to teach Rachel to warn the kids who bully her. I think when she's slightly bigger, I will then teach her to push back if her warning goes unheeded.... oh well...

Belle is also the only Chinese in her daycare...mostly Mexicano!!!lol....So....she definitely has quite some attention. By the way, am going back to Malaysia 11/15-11/18 after business trip...but guess will miss u... :(
so, juli, u growing old with me yah:)
CC, u must be so proud of her that she's adjusted so well. If a bit of harmless bribery works, then why not?!
