it's been a long time
everytime rachel learns something new, or do something amazing (well, amazing in my eyes), i will want to tell the whole world....maybe no the whole world, but at least to some people who care!
Like this morning, although we spent an hour driving to work together, i forgot to tell hubby that rachel got her fingers slammed between the cupboard doors yesterday, when he was not at home! she did not scream her lungs out, but she actually cried out to get me to remove her fingers. That will stop her from playing with the kitchen cabinets for maybe a day or two?
and rach is learning how to help around at home. she will help me with the laundry.....dragging her daddy's heavy and dirty pants one by one to the washing machine....unfolding the clothes that i have just folded.....carrying the dustpan everywhere, when i am sweeping the floor......wiping the floor or table with her own handkerchief then, using it to wipe her own mouth!!!! (hygiene is the next topic that i have got to teach her!) and the list goes on...
rach's getting cuter day by day....she has learnt how to growl and snap at people when she's not happy...she has learnt that she can sleep without mummy's breast, just that she needs to thumb a strand of mummy's hair while trying to sleep... she has learnt that the dustbin is "dirty, dirty"....she has learnt that she can get away with ANYTHING with her grandparents.... and most importantly she has learnt that daddy will give her ice cream everytime he wants her to behave....
she is growing up fast.....understanding what we say, and noticing every move that we make, and emulating every task that we do. I guess we have to be careful not to dig our noses, we have to say excuse me everytime we fart or burp, and we have to "mind our language" in front of her!
