Decision on school
well, we have finally decided to confirm Rachel in school. The teachers are happy to have her, as she is quite independent and mature for her age....(this is according to her teachers)...hmmm...I have a feeling my daughter only behaves when I am not around........sighhhh....the pains and guilt of a working mum....
nevertheless, after much deliberating (on my side, mostly...hubby was all supportive in whatever i decide).... and also calculating the worth (which is what hubby does not advocate, as he thinks it should not be the deciding factor of this decision)....we have unanimously (he, he...trying to be diplomatic here) decided to let R continue in school.
She still cries a bit when MIL drops her at school. But that lasts only for a few minutes, before she starts enjoying the company and activities in school. Then, she will start to make a big fuss when she see me or MIL outside the gate waiting for her after school.....she will repeatedly says "I wan go home...go home"...... But when asked whether she wants to go to school tomorrow...it's an affirmative answer..... this girl is not easy to please!!!!!
little things I noticed since she started school:

little things I noticed since she started school:
- she tries her best to finish her sentence
- she sometimes thinks before she says anything...... it's like she's trying to find the correct words to communicate
- she knows the correct way of washing her hands...by scrubbing both hands against each other... (before this, we do it for her...our mistake)
- she sings and repeats the actions to the songs she learn in school
well....these are really little little things that one may not attribute as "important"... but to us, it's a big start...
