Daddy fumbled

Rachel has a considerably cheap highchair that we bought from IKEA. It suits her fine, and since we do not have a big apartment, this tiny chair fits well into the "not so big" living room cum dining room cum kitchen cum study room. The chair has a seat belt which clips around her waist.

This morning, when putting Rachel into her chair for breakfast, BC was daydreaming as he clipped on the seat belt and he had difficulties getting the clip into the right place. So, he exerted some strength, and Rachel started howling. Ouch....he clipped Rachel's tummy (which was bare) and it was definitely painful! (not only for Rachel, but daddy as well!)

To Rachel:

Rachel darling, please bear in mind that accidents do happen, although mummy and daddy try best not to let them happen to you.
Anyway, this time round, it was Daddy's fault. Mummy was just an INNOCENT by-stander:)
Oh well, not much harm done. Just a small indent on your belly...

I tried my very best to hold back scoldings to BC when this happened... I was consciously telling myself that if this ever happen when I was trying to put Rachel into the chair, BC would just smile and say "It's ok"... hahahaha.... a patient man, BC is:)
