Punishment
We only had 4 hours of sleep last night because Rachel decided to punish us for the accidents we caused yesterday... or is it just her teething? Anyway, R refused to go back to sleep in her own cot, and she refused to let go of my breasts. It was painful, trying to put her to bed in her cot. She woke up a few times, and everytime, I nursed her, and tried my best to put her back into her own cot. But she ended up sleeping in our bed between us most of the time. What a night... Wonder whether Rachel is subconsciously punishing us for the accidents caused?:)
After a cup of strong coffee each, we decided that we are ready to enjoy our Saturday... Great weather today...
Took a bus to Princes Street, and walked to Castle Terrace to have a look at the Farmers market. A big disappointment. So, we walked along the parks at Princes Street towards St James (sadly, Rachel was asleep this time in her stroller). Went into Early Learning Center to get Rachel the walker. We decided on the wooden one...

Rachel is 8 months old today. Her development progress:
*Understand "NO" but may not obey it
*Pull herself up to stand
*Crawl, creep...everything except walk
*Drink from cup independently.....but only 10% of the contents reaches her stomach
*Stand alone momentarily
*Take timid steps while holding on to furniture
*Fusses loudly when she does not get her way (is this supposed to be considered a progress as well??????!!!!)
Current favourite song: If you are happy....
Most recent nursery rhyme additions:

Pease porridge hot
Pease porridge cold
Pease porridge in a pot

Some like it hot

Polly put the kettle on (3x)
We'll all have tea
Sukey take if off again (3x)
They've all gone away
